My City – GRANADA by Jesus Armani (2º A)

In this small text, I am going to speak about things I like and things that I dislike from my city. After that, I am going to finish with a small conclusion and my opinion.

First of all, I want say that Granada is the best city of Spain. Here, we can find wonderful and beautiful places. Also, we can visit a lot of monuments. If I was a typical tourist I would visit the monuments of Granada. Moreover, Granada is better than other cities because there are a lot of bars that give some big and excellent ¨tapas ¨and people are nice.

However, there are some things that I dislike. For example, there is not a tube, there is a lot of traffic and there are more bad inmigrants that good inmigrants. Also, Granada has a very small airport, this city is visited by lot of tourists everyday.

In conclusion, Granada has more good things that bad things. In my opinion, Granada is the best place of the world. This city is a big place to visit. Have you visit Granada?.

LIVING IN A VILLAGE by Rafael Carrillo 2º A
What are the advantages and disadvantages of living in a village? I am going to speak about that. Firstly, I am going to write about the advantages, secondly, about the disadvantages, and finally, I am going to give you my personal opinion.
Living in a village has some good things, about all, if you have children. In a village there are fewer cars and fewer bad people than in a big city, so they can run around it freely and safely. For example, you can let them quietly to go alone to the park or to go out with their friends. Also, everybody knows everybody and if you need some thing then someone will help you gladly. Furthermore, life is cheaper, quieter and more relaxing than life in a city.
However, not everything is good. As a matter of fact, there are some bad things, such as meeting the same people, going to the same places or doing the same things. Moreover, in a village there are less places to visit and less activities to do, like going to the cinema or theatre, going shopping or meeting new people. It has worse transportation means and infrastructure too. For example, few villages have airport, train station or subway. As well, people are usually very nosy and want to know about your life.
Although I prefer to live in a village some times I miss to live in a big city, but I am sure that if I lived in a big city I would miss to live in a village. The main reason is that such as I had already said before, I have two children. Would they like to live in a big city?

“THE GOOD THINGS AND THE BAD THINGS ABOUT LIVING IN A VILLAGE” by Ana María Cruz Casas (2º CAL)
Do you Know my opinion on the place where I am living? Below I willtalk about the positive and negative things that for me living in a village has.
For me the good things about living in a village is that you don’t have to use the car because you can go everywhere on foot. Aqnother good thing is that in a village nobody is afraid to go outside at all hours of the nigth. You feel safe because everybody Knows you. And finally I think that living in a village helps people to have a healthier lifestyle with less pollution and less stress than in a big city, although it all depends on each person.
The bag things about living in a village for me are the following: firstly you don’t have all the freedom to do everything you want because everybody watches your actions. Secondly, cultural life is poorer than in city however popular traditions aren0’t ost because they pass from parents to children.

To conclude this subject I would like to say that although lving in a village has bad things, in general I like living here because my life an my children’s life is better than in a big city. This village gives us everything wee need…for now¡¡¡¡¡

The good side and the bad side of living in a village. By Lucía Ruiz Sierra (2º A)

I´m going to tell about the good side and the bad side of living in a village. Why do some people prefer to live in a village and not in a city?

On the one hand, I´m going to talk about the good side of living in a village. I think that there isn´t much pollution, so there aren´t factories. People know eachother and they live as a family, although there are people who don´t get on well with the others. There is calm and there isn´t noise. The tourists often go to the villages, above all at Christmas, Easter and summer. In winter people don´t live in villages, but in summer they return.

On the other hand, I´m going to talk about the bad side of living in a village. I believe it´s bad not having a hospital. Usually, in every village there is a small problem page where the doctor goes once a week. If they had their own doctor, people wouldn´t have to move. Like this, there aren´t places to have fun, for example, a cinema. The children can only study primary school; when they finish primary, they have to go to the nearest secondary school. To do their shopping they have to go to another bigger village or city. Despite this, they have a supermarket, a clothes shop, a chemist to manage.

In conclusion, living in a village has its good side and its bad side. If you´re an old person will prefer the village and if you´re a young person will prefer the city. If I could choose, I would live in a city. I know that it´s dangerous and there are a lot of people, but I like having a change of air.
