Mary has a lot of hobbies and interests. She usually gets up early so she can run before work. She doesn't often have time to ski, but she occasionally goes on Saturdays during the winter. Mary often rides a horse at a stable near here home. She sometimes goes after work, but she usually goes horseback riding on Sundays. She loves music. She always goes to choir practice on Wednesday evenings and sings in church on Sundays. She doesn't have much extra money, so she rarely goes to concerts in the city. She seldom watches TV because she likes doing things outside. She usually goes to the gym if it's raining outside. She isn't often alone because she has a lot of friends. She occasionally does something alone, but she usually does her activities with one of her friends. She's a happy woman! Here, (please take Test).
HOBBIES / FREE TIME (Mº del Mar Pérez Córdoba 2º A E.O.I)
I don't have much free time, becaus I work in a Travel Agency an study English too. I like studying English, but sometimes I don't feel like studying English, I would prefer to watch films on TV an to relax in my comfortable and very big sofa.
I love listening to pop, techno and romantic music, so I usually listen to music in my MP3, while I do my housework, and of course, I also listen to music at work, because my boss loves it; but my co-workers and I don't like the music he chooses, because it's too quiet, therefore we fall asleep listening to his music; in fact, when he isn't in the office, we listen to another kind of music.
If I had more free time, I'd like to practice more exercise, specially walking in the country, because from my point of view, it's the healthiest thing that you can do for your body. I would also like to learn interio decoration of flats and houses, it should be great!, and what about you? What would you like to do if you had more free time?

I have many hobbies: listening to music and the radio, reading books, going to the cinema, going out at night… in short, usual hobbies, but my rarest hobby is the crossing – stitch. I learnt to sew when I was studying in the school; our teacher who was a nun, taught us for a part of year to make needlework for Mother´s day. Moreover, my mother bought cloth and linens in the summer holiday so I made some needlework, but son afterwards I sway to cross - stitch. One year ago, when I was working, I met an ambulances´driver who she was made scarfs and clothes with big needles and a ball of wool, and I remembered the sawing. As a result of this, I started to sew again; I have made some needlework: vases, the Virgin of Rocío… and the last that I have made (and the most difficult), is the Lyons´Courtyard, one of the most important parts of the Granada´s Alhambra. You can see it in this picture. At present, I am making a famous painting which it was created by Botticelli and the painting symbolizes the Greek goddess´ born. Do you know what is that painting?
The Venus´ birth is one of the most important Sandro Botticelli´s pictures; he was a great Italian painter who worked for the most important noble Italian houses like “ The Medici” for example. Futhermore, he painted other famous pictures like “ The Defamation” or “The Spring´s Allegory”. All this pictures have a meaning appart of the scene that is painted, so it´s important that you have some information about Greek mythology; likewise, I tell you that you don´t try to understand all the stories because there are many different versions that they are different. In this case, the Venus´ born is one of them because it isn´t represented the Venus´ born because Venus borned when the God Cronos cut his father´s testicles and when the testicles fell into de sea, it was the momento when Venus borned, because of, and in this case, the Botticelli´s picture symbolizes when Venus arrives to the coas ton a seallop; she is in the middle of the picture and she is with other three figures: On the left of the picture, Cefiro, the North Wind´s God who is taken to Cloris, the Breeze´s Goddess, and they are moving the scallop wit his power, the wind. On the right, you can see other figure, she is The Spring who is going to cover Venus with his flower blanket.
