The caves are houses where people live. They are under the mountain, prepared for people to live there. In the caves the temperature is the same all year round. There are very big caves, my friend has a cave with two floors. Guadix is very famous because of the caves. In this photo you can see some of them. I took the picture of Pedro Antonio´s caves. Pedro Antonio´s caves are renting caves where a lot of tourist go for a holiday.

*The patrimonial richness of the Region of Guadix constitutes one of the differential elements of this territory. The badlands constitutes one of the most spectacular erosive landscapes of the European continent which have attracted during various generations the attention of geologists, naturalists, landscape painters, photographers and film producers, in fact, in Guadix, around 70 films have been recorded and also numerous television commercials. For example, films like Doctor Zhivago, La muerte tiene un precio, El bueno, el feo y el malo or Indiana Jones y la última cruzada recorded many scenes in the Region of Guadix. I bet you didn´t know this !!!!The perfect situation of the Region has converted it in a place where many cultures have passed from the Paleolithic to the present day.
