Hi Pilar
My first hobby is listening to music. I have a lots of CDs of music of different styles:American folk, rock, country, pop, blues, jazz, new music, celtic music ... I have no prejudices. I am going to recommed a few places to visit, all photos are mine and have been taken on my travels.
Route 66. EE. UU. This road is known in United Strates how the Main Street of America. Links the cities of Chicago and Los Angeles through four thousand miles and it cross nine states: illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. In this route you can see the deep America: small tradicional towns, endless field, friendly people and miles and miles of straight road.

Chicago. Illinois. EE.UU.
An interesting city full of tall buildings in historical and financial center is point of exit to Route 66. In Chicago you can see the big lake Michigan in the north of the city, beside a recreative area called Navy Pier. You can have a pizza en Gino´s, a fantastic italian restaurant or step out for a breathtaking view with SkyDeck Chicago’s The Ledge, from 1,350 feet above the ground!. Enjoy Chicago...
Floating Market in Bangkok and others. Thailand. One of the places that you should visit is this market. You can see big snakes, exotic fruits, inusual meal and other rarities. When you finish your visit there is a boat waiting to travel down the river Chao Praya to your hotel in Bangkok.
Central Park. New York. Central Park is big and beautiful park located in the center of town. A place where you can go for a walk, relaxing or making some exercise.
Machu Picchu. This picture was token las december. The sacred sanctuary of Machu Picchu is a mistyc place to the Incas and is full of energy and mistery.
This is Genova´s Port in Italy. Genova is a beautiful city with a big port. Many cruises stop in this city and the voyagers can visit in half a day its most interesting places: medieval squares, streets full of nice palaces, quiet corners where you sit down and eat a delicious pizza. In this city there are living old churches full of mistery with modern boutiques. The people are nice and fairly quiet. The sea is dazzling blue and the houses and buildings are very colorful.
The MSC Fantasy is a very beautiful big ship. In the first picture we can see the last deck and some passenger watching the sunset and others.
This time a photo of a volcano, Stromboli, located in theMediterranean Seais well known for serving as the film landscape of Roberto Rosselini IngridBergman.
Port of Valletta. Malta. Beautiful city, that if full of hills, was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 1980. Small and friendly (it has about 7,000 habitants), has many interesting buildings and is considered a masterpiece of baroque. As its official language is English, in summer it gets full of students (many Spanish) who are studying in some of their schools scattered throughout the island. If someone is searching the beach, the site is best Saint Julian's main holiday resort, has a small cove with little surf and the area is noted for having a lively atmosphere.Highly recommended place to visit.
Bayon Temple in Siem Reap. Cambodia. This temple was built under the rule of Jayavarman VII (1181-1219), and renovated several times. What catches our attention are the towers of faces. Each represents four faces of Buddha that usually monitor the four corners of the kingdom, and guard its people, giving them his blessing and ensuring its prosperity. Originally there were 54 towers in Bayon face, adding a total of 216 faces of Buddha, smiling from every corner of the temple. They say we're in a palace inhabited by an army of giants.
Street in Genoa (Italy).Regular stop for manycruises, Genoa is a city worth visiting. Both the port and the old town are full of sights, especially the Via Garibaldi, street you'll find numerous palaces and public buildings of great architectural value.
Isla de Flores. Peten. Guatemala.Usual place of Tikal park entrance (on are some of the most important Mayan cities of the continent), the island of Flores is surprising for its quaintness: cobbled streets by constantly circulating tuc-tuc, bright colors at home, chaotic electrical lines and pretty sunsets over the lake.
In the town is very common to see armed people in the streets and shops, and the first surprise that you find when you get to the hotel is a sign indicating the prohibition of entering with weapons inside. Our guide told us that Vivian Girls-Flores Peten, like their men armed with pistols and the size and luxury of the same determine their social and economic position.Beautiful and amazing country Guatemala and by zone, rather dangerous.
Archaeological remains in Crete (Greece). As Gila said: How is Greece! All broken, lying on the floor ... And now, on top with the economic crisis Greece cannot raise his head. By the way, what do you think about the beautiful city Rhodes: quiet, smooth, clean, not very large (60,000 inhabitants). A great place to visit and enjoy.
My favorite photo was taken in Ayuttaya (Thailand). I like the color, the smiling faces, the composition with the three monks grouped and looking at different places. They seem very happy...
New York , perhaps the most espectacular city in the world. And this time a famous street, a place next to the Central Station. 92 flags in 42 Street, NY
Guatemala´s cathedral. A very dangerous city where you can see interesting monuments.
